Laing O'Rourke Centre for Construction Engineering and Technology

Date: Tuesday, 6th May | Time: 5-6pm (GMT)

Join Dr Olivia Remes, Mental Health Coach, Life Coach, and Author, for a webinar exploring the critical role gender plays in addressing climate change. As the global impact of climate change continues to grow, the importance of gender in driving action has become increasingly evident. Studies show that women often show more concern and take more action on climate issues, but little research has explored this in the workforce—especially in industries with large carbon footprints and significant gender inequities.

About the webinar series

Murray Edwards College’s webinar series offers online taster lectures followed by a Q&A delivered by some of the University of Cambridge’s most prestigious fellows. These webinars aim to give students who are considering applying to the University of Cambridge and Murray Edwards College an insight into the breadth of the degree programmes we have on offer, the content and research involved, and the teaching style used.
