Graduate student awarded IGS prize for best paper

PhD student Talia da Silva has been selected as the winner of the International Geosynthetics Society’s (IGS) Student Contest 2015 with the paper ‘Physical modelling of Geosynthetic-Reinforced Soils Spanning Voids’. Talia is supervised by Laing O'Rourke Lecturer Dr Mohammed Elshafie.
