Dr Danny Murguia, Research Associate at the Laing O’Rourke Centre for Construction Engineering and Technology, gave a presentation entitled “Digitalisation and industrialisation for productivity improvement” at the Rio Construção Summit held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, between 19-21 September 2023.
His keynote talk was part of a round table discussing global experiences and solutions to explore synergies and convergences between digitalisation and industrialisation, expanding opportunities for performance in the production of assets in the sector.
Danny presented his research on Performance and Productivity, which aims to collect productivity data on several UK projects and a digital ecosystem to capture, integrate, and interpret data.
