Biography

Dr Hamidreza Alavi is a research associate at the University of Cambridge, actively contributing to the development of cutting-edge digital twin technologies for infrastructure and buildings. Holding a PhD in Construction Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Dr Alavi has a rich academic background, including a tenure as an Associate Professor at UPC's Department of Project and Construction Engineering (DPCE). During his PhD, he also served as a visiting researcher at the University of British Columbia in Canada. 

Dr Alavi's influence in the academic realm is underscored by a series of impactful publications in esteemed scientific journals, with a curated selection available on his Google Scholar profile.
