About
Ruodan Lu is a Ph.D. Candidate at the Construction Information Technology group of Laing O'Rourke and she is expected to graduate in 2018. She holds a Diplôme d'Ingénieur (French Master's degree in Engineering) in Civil Engineering from National Institutes of Applied Sciences of Toulouse, France. Ruodan also has several years working experience as a structural engineer in different major design offices across France. Her research interests focus on as-is Bridge Information Modeling (BrIM) using point cloud data. She is funded by EPSRC Doctoral Training Award, Infravation-SeeBridge fund and Trimble fund. She is supervised by Dr Ioannis Brilakis and advised by Prof Carl Edward Rasmussen. Ruodan is a member of Emmanuel College.
