Gulsum Sevde Baltasi

Gulsum Sevde Baltasi is a Ph.D. Student at the Construction Information Technology group of the Laing O’Rourke Centre and she is expected to graduate in 2020. She holds Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Middle East Technical University and a Master of Science degree in Construction Management from Istanbul Technical University, Turkey. Sevde has several years working experience as a project controls engineer in different major and leading projects. She also has working experience as a research assistant and co-lecturer in one of the leading private universities of Turkey. Her research project for the Ph.D. is focused on increasing the efficiency of geometry and visual data collection. She is partially funded by Trimble fund and Laing O'Rourke. She is supervised by Dr Ioannis Brilakis and advised by Dr Fumiya Lida. Sevde is a member of Sidney Sussex College.
