Laing O'Rourke Centre for Construction Engineering and Technology

 

We are pleased to announce that Dr Gavin Davies has been appointed Deputy Director of the Laing O'Rourke Centre, alongside his current positions as Director of the Construction Engineering Masters (CEM) and Fellow at Homerton College.

As Deputy Director, Dr Davies will work closely with the Director of the Centre, Professor Cam Middleton, to shape our overall strategy and offer strong leadership and guidance for our education and research initiatives.

The Laing O'Rourke Centre has over 70 members and a substantial portfolio of large research projects and grants. We have ambitious plans to increase the impact of our research and teaching and provide long-term funding continuity, in addition to successfully managing the Construction Engineering Masters programme. This appointment is a significant step towards enhancing the effectiveness and productivity of the Centre, paving the way for a promising future.
