Laing O'Rourke Centre for Construction Engineering and Technology

 

We are delighted to announce that Laing O’Rourke Professor Ioannis Brilakis has been honoured with the prestigious Tucker-Hasegawa Award from the International Association for Automation and Robotics in Construction and has been elected IAARC President by its Board of Directors.

The intent of the prestigious Tucker-Hasegawa Award is to recognise individuals in industry or academia who have made major, distinguished, and sustained contributions to the field of automation and robotics in construction. The annual award presentation ceremony takes place at the annual ISARC symposium and consists of a customized plaque and a keynote lecture, this year held at Lille, France.
