Dr Brian Sheil, Laing O’Rourke Associate Professor in Construction Engineering at the University of Cambridge and Director of the Cambridge Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction, has been named one of the joint winners of the 2025 Data-Centric Engineering Best Reviewer Award.
The award marks the launch of a new annual initiative by Data-Centric Engineering to recognise the invaluable contribution of reviewers in maintaining research quality and supporting the development of the interface between data science and engineering.
This recognition highlights Brian’s important contribution to the journal and to the wider research community. Reviewers play a vital role in assessing new work, strengthening published research, and helping shape emerging fields of study.
