How Gender Influences Motivation and Action Towards Climate Change with Olivia Remes
Date: Thursday, 6th May | Time: 5-6pm (GMT)
Join Olivia Remes, Mental Health Coach, Life Coach, and Author, for a webinar exploring the critical role gender plays in addressing climate change. As the global impact of climate change continues to grow, the importance of gender in driving action has become increasingly evident. Studies show that women often show more concern and take more action on climate issues, but little research has explored this in the workforce—especially in industries with large carbon footprints and significant gender inequities.
Dr Olivia Remes, a Research Associate at Cambridge University's Laing O'Rourke Centre, will discuss a study on gender’s influence in these industries, shedding light on how we can drive more inclusive and effective climate action.
